Max Roach's Papers
It was recently announced that the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C. has recently acquired the papers and personal affects belonging to the late Max Roach.
Here's a couple of articles from the New York Times and Washington Post to that effect:

Being an eternal fan of Max Roach myself, I'm excited that this incredible collection of manuscripts, correspondences and what not will now be made available to the public and for research purposes.
Speaking out loud here (and if I may be so bold!) I'd like to suggest that we just skip building a statue in Roach's honour and get started on a full-fledged museum!
