Swiss Army Triplet Variation
Here's a little rudiment that I find useful and that I first learned back in my drumline days during the early 1990s when we would practice a rudimental parking lot routine eloquently entitled "Chugada Chugada" (!)
It's basically a variation of a Swiss Army Triplet that features a displaced accent:
Really emphasize that one accent and keep everything else low to make it work. And of course, like all your rudiments, practice this pattern starting on your left hand as well:
It has sort of has that big yellow Gretsch drum set era Tony Williams vibe to it when you work it up fast enough.
